
BRUSSELS SPROUT LEAF RECIPES
Brussels Sprout Leaf Wraps
Ingredients

1 lb ground pork or chicken
​
1 Tbsp oil
​
4 cloves garlic
​
1 onion, minced
​
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
​
2 Tbsp honey (unless your hoisin sauce is very sweet)
​
3 Tbsp soy sauce
​
2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
​
2 Tbsp grated ginger
​
1 Tbsp garlic chili sauce, such as Sriracha (optional)
​
1 can water chestnuts, drained & diced
​
3-4 onion greens, sliced
​
1/2 cup peanuts, chopped (optional)
​
5 - 10 Brussels sprout leaves
​
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions
​
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned, crumbling as you go. Drain excess fat.
​
Add onions and cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until onions are translucent.
​
Add garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger and garlic chili sauce & honey if using. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Add water chestnuts, onion greens and peanuts. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
To serve, spoon several spoonfuls of the mixture over a Brussels sprouts leaf. Wrap like a taco or burrito and eat!
