TOMATILLO RECIPES
Salsa Verde
Ingredients
​
1 1/2 lbs tomatillos (1 bag)
​
1/2 cup onion, chopped
​
4 cloves garlic
​
1/4 cup cilantro leaves
​
2 jalapeno peppers, stemmed, seeded & chopped
​
2 Tbsp lime juice
​
1 avocado (optional)
​
Salt & pepper to taste
​
Directions
​
Remove the husks from the tomatillos and rinse well.
For a smooth salsa, place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
For a chunky salsa, chop and mix all ingredients.
​
Serve with tortillas.
​
